Our Committee are voted for by members of the club at the AGM at the end of each season. Below are the current members that have been voted to their respected posts.
Sharmain Sands
President
Nationality: Aboriginal (Yamatji) Australian
Work: Manager Aboriginal Hostel
Other sports: West Coast Eagles Supporter and Perth Glory Women Member
For fun: travel with group of friends to Europe every 2 years; camping with same group of friends within Australia on the alternate years; themed culinary dinners with family every 3 months; 10 acre hobby block in Gidgegannup with bees, chickens, various fruit/nut trees and vegetable gardens.
Other: Volunteer for the West Gidgegannup Bush Fire Brigade (2020 received 5 year service medal
What does VPSC mean to me: A home away from home during the
season. VPSC is welcoming, community focused, inclusive with a family environment.
Sonja Jovovic

I’ve been a player at VPSC for the last four seasons, being both Captain and Co-Captain for the division 3 ladies team and this year I also coached our U12 Junior Girls team. I am an active member of the VPSC community by regularly volunteering for events, sub committees, various activities on game days, training and the bar/canteen. I’ve had volunteer involvement in various committees for diversity/inclusion and community organisations over the last 10 years. Professionally, I work as a HSSE Manager and have been in this field for 15 years.
Michelle Hoggett
Junior Co-Ordinator
I have been involved in football for almost 30 years, as a player, coach, now as a volunteer committee member.
I play for and captain the Vic Park Women’s team and my children, Lucy and Jack, play for the Junior teams.
I have coached the Under 6/7s for three years. I love to see the growth of the kids throughout the season and the bond they have with each other. It’s been very easy for me to be a coach due to the fantastic support given by fellow coaches, the Junior parents, my partner Chris, and the Committee.
I’m excited to be on the committee now and I have lots of ideas on how we can keep this club thriving and growing with a core culture of kindness, inclusivity and respect.

Darragh Horan

I have Played for Vic Park for 5 years and developed many lifelong friendships since joining. I moved over from the UK in 2013 and it wasn't until I joined the club that Perth really began to feel like home for me. I now am the General Manager of a carpentry company, live with my girlfriend and our 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and Woma Python. I'm a big West Brom fan, and love a multitude of sports, including practicing BJJ when not injured
